  1. yes, Alaska would be amazing!! i would love to do one of those cruises that goes up there. Def on my list :)

The Grand Canyon is breathtaking and words really don't do it justice.. i visited it in the winter time a few years back which was actually a great coz not too many peoople and it had snow decorating parts of the South Rim :)

New York City is EXACTLY like the movies - the sights, sounds and smells. I loved the buzzing atmosphere of it and seeing all the familiar big sights. I would recommend the hotel my friend & I stayed at in Koreatown - was called 'NYMA' and it is like 5 mins from Empire State, 15 mins to Times Square, 15 mins to Little Italy etc etc. You do a LOT of walking in NYC but it is the best way to see everything.

You should also add on there visiting Washington DC (so many free things to do there mainly coz of the awesome museums - you can even get a tour of part of the White House for free if you sign up months in advance!)

For Canada, I know my aunty really loved Banff and the eastern parts of Canada (Montreal especially i think). From what I've heard Vancouver is a pretty cool place that is similar to Auckland.

Hehe sorry this turned into a novel! I find it hard to stop writing when it comes to travel :)
